Canterbury Golf Junior Open - Caddy Dispensation Request
Players who are participating in the 18 hole division must seek dispensation from the Tournament Director at least 3 days prior to the event, if they want to use a caddy.
A player will only be granted dispensation to have a caddy if it is to support the player with their pace of play or if the player is new to the event to help them feel more comfortable.
Caddies will not be permitted to coach, line up shots (including on the green), or select clubs for the player during the round.
The intention of this is to create a level playing field for all participants and foster player development, as such we encourage players to play without caddies to aid their own development.
Any caddy exceeding their permitted role will receive a warning. Continued violations may result in the loss of dispensation.
Dispensations
To complete a caddy dispensation request, a dispensation form must be completed and sent to the Tournament Director at least 3 days prior to the event. The form for this can be accessed - HERE.
The Tournament Director will then be in contact with their dispensation approval decision before the final event draw is released.
